These days if we have an idea and it is a good one, raising funds to power that idea can be done through crowd-funding sites like KickStarter meaning more and more people are able to launch cool new products.
The way it works is that you back this idea with a donation, and the bigger the donation the better present you get from the company in the end from stickers and t-shirts to test and fully functioning products before anyone else.
