As you may already know, the mission of KiteSista is to promote, support and grow the women’s kiting community.
We created KiteSista above all else, to shine a light on the ambassadors of our sport whether Red Bull athletes, sponsored pros or riders at a local spot. Those who are on their first water start to those training for handle passes. Whether preparing for competition or just out for a personal challenge…
For all these girls that KiteSista exists, to remind us that our love for this sport is immense and together we can affect the impact and image of our industry.
However for this to happen, we need you. We need the community to mobilise and help us to spread the word and message. Our aim is that the female kitesurfing representation be equal to that of the men. We want our events as publicized and covered in the media and we want to see the photographers also deciding to get wet and get out there and shoot the girls, because we are all ambassadors for our sport and because we are all Sistas.
How are you going to help us do this? It couldn’t be simpler… publication and distribution of media.
We need you to support and use #KiteSista (instagram & twitter), @KiteSista (facebook) to create a consistency and impact across all channels, because without you it is nothing.
Pro-riders, amateurs and all those passionate people who have helped us make KiteSista the official family all of us girls who kite. You don’t need to use anything more than just #KiteSista. This will allow us to find you and make you part of the community.
That is after all the primary purpose of a hashtag … centralisation of content around a specific term, to help disseminate information across multiple channels to those who are interested. #NowYouKnowWhatHashtagsReallyDo.
