The Kiteboarding Tricktionary: The New Coffee Table Bible

Tricktionary. You can access all tricks in one place, and not just on the internet, but in real physical hard cover format in front of your eyes.

From how to attempt your first jumps to landing a back-mobe 5 we are always looking for advice and inspiration for new tricks to advance our riding level.

The magazines all have little guides in them, the internet is full of videos or people performing in slow motion, but what if we told you that now you could access all tricks in one place, and not just on the internet, but in real physical hard cover format in front of your eyes.

The book is called Tricktionary and is available is in 6 different languages (English, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Russian) and we have just received our copy and we are pleased to report, it is a masterpiece.

Tricktionary

Not only will it give you everything you need to know about the tricks you want to learn, but more importantly it also inspires you to go out and try other tricks that you might not even have thought of yet. It ranges from the very basic to the moves the pros are doing so it really has something for everybody with both new-school/wakestyle moves and the older airstyle moves all covered in detail.

Every trick is beautifully photographed in sequence and described in detail by the two main authors, Julian Hosp and Thomas Burblies, both highly experienced professional kitesurfers.

The book itself was created by Michael Rossmeier, the man behind the The Windsurfing Tricktionary book, a windsurfer for 20 years and kitesurfer for 3, and clearly a man who likes to have all of right information to hand.

We could talk for hours about this book as it has just taken pride of place alongside our Kitesurfing Guide To Europe on our coffee table as one of those books that you just have to have and is a constant point of conversation and reference. There is not a single friend who comes through our door who doesn’t suddenly find themselves lost in the pages.

Here are a few samples, …now it’s time to add it to your Christmas list.
