It’s been a long time coming but the next World Kiteboarding Leagues Qualifier and Elite League event is finally on in Texel in The Netherlands.
Unfortunately we are not in attendance but that does not mean we can’t bring you all the latest updates and media as it happens.
The first few days have seen registration and a waiting period during light wind with the action eventually getting underway at the very end of yesterday with a couple of mens qualifier heats.
This morning is a different story with heats kicking off first thing and although there is not a live feed online yet, it will be in the next hour and you can follow the entire event on the WKL Facebook page.
The girls qualifiers should begin around 10-11am GMT with the first round heats as below and then alternate with the boys throughout the day.
If you have a Samsung TV you can even watch it directly with the FB App as if you were watching any other major sporting event from your couch (which is what we will be doing).
We can’t wait to see the girls perform and will be glued to the live feed and getting involved in the comments section supporting our favourite riders and we suggest you do the same.
